SCRIPTURE:   Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! -Psalms 133:1 (KJV)

Hi there. I welcome you to another day's episode of The Living Bread. The reason for feud in nearly all areas of life today is the lack of oneness.

This means a lack of Unity among people. Unity in plain terms is agreement, acceptance, and trust.

Whenever there's no agreement or oneness there will be a feud, disagreement, hatred, and all we see around us today.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not just a teaching it is to make you an epistle.

It is both informative and transformative. The scripture says " Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"- Ephesians 4:13 (KJV)

God needs every one of Us to come together in agreement and belief. He desires that His kingdom be made a reality on Earth as one.

That is the agape. The unity of faith is also known as koinonia which means Fellowship of the brethren.

There is no fellowship in the world, even though they claim to have it, it is not faith binding; it is not according to the will and purpose of God.

Because it is full of manipulation and deceit. If we want true fellowship among us, then we need to come to terms with the following conditions :

Understanding and living by these conditions will transform just any man for the better, in manifesting the will and purpose of God. Now let's look at each of them;

1. The New Birth

A certain man came to Jesus at night, in search of the Kingdom Life. He was so hungry for this life that he choose to come by night, because of his status

He was a member of the ruling council of the Jews, and his name is Nicodemus, according to the word of God in the book of John 4.

He sought to know how he can experience this "life". But Jesus cleared his inquisitiveness, by letting him know that all he needed was to be born again.

And that until he meets this condition(being born again) he can't experience the life of the kingdom of God.

The new birth grants you access to God and His Kingdom, where Only those He has begotten in Christ dwell.

No man living by the flesh will be allowed entrance into God's Kingdom so we must be born of the spirit for God is a spirit. ( see John 4:3-8)

2. Faith In God

This is about trusting God. believing in him and doing all you're doing with "The God first mentality "

A lot of people on the planet Earth only possess what we call self-belief,without giving God His place in their life

Self-belief is no belief when God is absent, just as self-help without the God Factor is no help.

I am not trying to rule off, how necessary it is to have self-confidence. however, self-belief only will make or turn you into a selfish person.

Faith in God makes you a selfless being.

Jesus' ministry was an all-through walk and dependence on the help of God the Father.

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps".- Jeremiah 10:23

The ways of a man has no direction. That you have legs doesn't mean your journey will be guaranteed and safe.

You don't have the road map. God is the road map to your destination. Without Him leading or in the Driver's seat, you will be lost as you journey alone.

Faith in God gets us humbled and also makes us loving children. Because we have come to know that without Him we can do just nothing.

And this life of humility and love for God also reflects in our relationship, action, and reaction with other brethren.

Since we are born of God. We are all brethren. And Jesus is the firstborn.

"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many ".-Romans 8:29

Faith in God comes from a continuous study of the Word. What food is to our physical being, the word of God is to our soul.

We grow spirituality through the knowledge of the word.

"And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which can build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified".-Acts 20:32

As our soul grows our life transforms and prospers for the better.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosperity".-3 John 1:2

So, go for the word, mediate therein day and night!

3. Fear Of God

Many people in this present generation; the last days do not have the God Factor in them. when God is not in view there is abuse of life.

The Bible says, "What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant." - Psalms 25:12-14

As I have said before; The fear of God is a fundamental prerequisite for a great Kingdom lifestyle.

Without the fear of God, life will be abused, as people go about doing as they please, contrary to the plan and purpose of God.

To "Fear" God here is not the literal form we all are predisposed to, it is to reverence and obey God's will, by allowing Him to have His way in your life.

It is to avoid all forms of evil and wickedness. It is being able to say "No" to satan's antics to lure you into sin.

It is complete obedience and love for the word of God.

See how to avoid evil company in the name of fellowship by the Psalmist:

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." -Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV)

He does not walk with the ungodly even though such a person is a member of the church, he is not in agreement with their counsel.

He refuses to stand, think or devise evil with other immoral folks and he doesn't sit in their seat.

What is his delight?

He loves the law, he obeys it, it is his priority. His life is guided by God's command not satan's orchestration and fleshy manipulation that abounds in the world.

This kingdom life doesn't only benefit you, but it extends to the people around you.

It helps you treat others as Christ will treat them because he now lives within you.

4. Live In Love

In the previous point. We saw that the fear of God is vital in our Christian journey and fellowship.

And to fear God means to keep His commandments. And the greatest of them is to Love.

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."-John 13:34

Also, to fear God is to obey His word which is proof that you love Him;

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."- John 14:21

Love is the life of God and true fellowship is solely dependent on God's life, for God is love.

When we love we have fulfilled all of the law of God.

"Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law." -Romans 13:10

Without Love, Faith won't have any effect. Because faith works by Love. And Faith without work is dead.

When we have good knowledge of the above points, we will see remarkable transformations in our lives if we put them to work.

Faith is working out the word that we have heard.

PRAYER

1. FATHER IJN: I thank you Father for the regulation of your world today. May your name be lifted forever.

2. FATHER IJN: have your way in me and always instruct me the way to go.

3. FATHER IJN: kill every contrary spirit in me that is in disobedience to your world.

4. FATHER IJN: Fill me with your spirit of love so I can be one with you and other brethren in fellowship

COMMIT TO MEMORY

"Show hospitality to one another without grumbling".- 1 Peter 4:9 (ESV)

QUOTE

"REAL fellowship is being as committed to each other as we are to Jesus Christ." ~ Rick Warren

ASSIGNMENT

The place of the word can not be overlooked. The word is the tool for every believer's growth.

So make it a duty to always study and meditate on the word daily. Have a quiet time with God on a daily bases at a time that suits you, though best in the early hours of the morning (See Isaiah 50:4).
