 SCRIPTURE TEXT: “And has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth” Rev.5:10 KJV.

Good day my beloved friends, I welcome you to another episode of THE LIVING BREAD (TLB).

Someone once said, “If you want to be made in life, you must first be self-made” and the Japanese people believe in these three forms of power, as follow; The power of Sword, the power of Jewel, and the power of Mirror. The power of the sword is about the possession of weapons;

for instance, the United States of America invests Trillions of dollars in its military and that is the reason they have the strongest military base in the world.

Their assorted kinds of weapons empowered them military wise when put side by side with other nations, so America has the power of the sword.

The power of the Jewel is the power of money; this is about the possession of money and what it can do for the owner.

 And finally is the power of the mirror which is the power of self-education, and a Japanese legend also asserts, that of the three the power of the mirror is most valued.

The mirror is the ability to see self, and what is in you, self-knowledge or education is the greatest form of empowerment, when you look at the mirror you see yourself,

How you are, and consequently what you must do to make yourself better than you are, and this is why a wise man declared, “man know thyself”  our scripture text says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth”

Until you know your source you can’t know your origin, because discovery leads to recovery, your source tells more of your abilities and capacity, the Bible in John 8:32 says, “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”.

The truth here entails your source and origin, it tells you who you really are against convention and self-perception.

This is because how you see yourself is a function of what you hear and believe, Proverb 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart so is he”

DISCOVER HOW YOU ARE MADE

My question therefore is, who do you think you are, and what do you think God made you for? Jesus Christ asked his disciples, “Who do men say that I the son of man am?.”

When he noticed it was obvious that men didn’t know who he is, he then asked his disciples again, “He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am?”

In other words, do you know who you are following, what do you think of me?  but amazingly, Simon Peter was in-state, “And Simon Peter answered and said, thou art the Christ, the son of the Living God” Matt 16:16.

Peter’s answer was a perfect one, for this is the person Jesus is, and those were the exact words needed to depict the personality of his being. “Christ, the son of the living God” can also be said;

“the Messiah, the one sent from God”, of course, Jesus knew himself and why he is here, his purpose and assignment were absolutely clear to him, he has no identity mix-up, and scripture affirms this in John 9:5, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”

And many other scriptures he tells of himself and his mandate on the earth. In the same manner, as Jesus Christ is in this world so are you, “You are made for glory” nothing less, beloved!.

This is it since Jesus Christ is the light of the world and he abides in you, that means, you can’t have light in you and still live-in darkness. Because light represents Glory! It takes the knowledge of your source to manifest the truth, and the truth is;

That You are made for glory! 2Peter 1:3, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”.

You can now grasp the purpose you are called in God; to manifest His glory! just as Jesus is, when he was in the world, to know more of Jesus Christ is to be aware of your priestly and kingship place,

 In his high calling and as a king, you have no excuse, not to manifest your pre-ordained glorious destiny.

God has given to you in Christ all things that you need to have all your needs in life; riches, glory, honor, power, health, dominion, and all things that have to do with godly life;

wisdom, knowledge, love, faith, hope, and joy to mention a few, all things are in him, the one you believe, and this is why Paul in 1Cor. 3:21 said, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” and he further wrote, “And ye are Christ’s and Christ is God’s” 1Cor.3:23, All things are of God, who handed them to Christ our savior and lord, who has not kept them from us.
