There Is Great Power In Vision: Eyes Of Your Mind!

Scripture verse: “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evident of things not seen” -Heb.11:1 KJV

The Bible stated clearly, “where there is no vision the people perish” (see Prov.29:18 KJV), you can see that the most powerful force in life is the force of VISION! No matter who you are or what country you live in, you have a personal purpose, every human is born with one.

The words of James Whistler, “An artist is not paid for his labor but for his vision”. God created each person with a unique vision, He has a tremendous plan for you that no one else can accomplish, Jer. 29:11, affirms this, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD” the tragic thing is that many people live their whole lives without ever recognizing their vision.

Until you discover yourself you may not know what you are born for: your predestined place might elude you. What does it mean, to have a vision for your life?

To See Farther Than You Eye Can Look

Ted Engstrom, the former president of the World Vision, told a story that went something like this: A little girl was on a cruise ship and she and her father were standing on the deck, it was a beautiful clear day, and the air was crisp and fresh.

The little girl, standing on tiptoe, said to her father, “ I can’t see anything” The father picked her up and put her on his shoulders so that she was higher than everyone else on the deck and was able to see everything around her. “Daddy!” she exclaimed. “ I can see farther than my eyes can look!”

That little girl's statement captures the essence of Vision: The ability to see farther than your physical eyes can look.

Our text says, “Now faith is the substance of the things hoped for: the evidence of things not seen” Vision here is not what is, but also what can be, this is a conception that is inspired by God in the heart of a person.

Faith Is To See, As God Sees

To paraphrase the Bible, Faith is the substance of things you hope to accomplish, the evidence of the things you can see even when others cannot.

Vision is a conceptual view of a preferred future, it is the unveiling of the plan of God for your life inspired within the individual.

Only by seeing what is not yet here can you bring something new, creative and exciting into existence.

Vision IS A Seed

Your life is likened to a seed. The destiny of a mustard seed is a tree. By faith, you can see the tree within the seed. You have a vision of it in your mind's eye because you know the potential in the seed.

Our vision is tied to the potential within us. You have been redeemed for impact, Rev.5:10 says, “And has made us unto our God kings and priest: and we shall reign on the earth”

you have been ordained to reign on the earth as a king but until you catch the vision for your life and execute it believing, it may never find expression in your life,

The Picture Of A Preferred Life

Vision is seeing the picture of a better future, someone said something interesting,

“Impression without expression is depression” inability to discover and fulfill one's vision is the root of frustration and depression in the life of men.

Wealth is not something in the external but it is something within in the internal, your life is a seed.

God’s vision for your life is innate, Eph.3:20, “ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”.

My Prayer for you is; that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened henceforth so that you can behold in the scripture, all that is for you in Christ.

Father, IJN: Let every veil covering the vision for my life and destiny be torn off and destroyed.

Father, IJN: Endue me with grace and divine enlightenment with direction towards your preordained path and vision for my life.
