Hi, I have faith that you are doing just great as I hope, I also believe that understanding the reason or purpose for a thing is a vital key for effectiveness and efficiency in whatsoever area or calling we happen to be into.
whether ministry, business investment, career pursuit, education, marriage, and all the others.
let's delve a little into scripture to see what it has to show us, Isaiah 43:21 says, "This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise"
God's ultimate reason, if I may say for creating man is to show forth his praise, man was created for God's glory.
So, lack of this understanding has been the case in the lives of many even among believers, "Praise" in this regard, doesn't mean only singing in honor of His name, of course, it is many parts of it.
God dwells in praise, hope you are aware of that, it however entails everything virtuous in honor to God; from service, obedience to his word, and kindness to fellow brethren.
To guide us on this, the Bible says, "Finally brethren whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things"-Phil. 4:8
Now you can see that our life is praiseworthy, only when we manifest these virtues and to a good extent the things which we allow to roam our minds.
I mean thoughts, your actions, reactions, and attitude tells if you are really showing forth a praiseful life.
A lot of believers don't know who they are in Christ, or talkless their place in God, now I see clearly the reason David wrote, "They know not, neither will they understand, they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course"-Psalms 82:5
Exactly, the Bible calls it; the Ancient Path, many have left the foundation, the ancient path of our Christian faith, and rather prefer to wallow.
Chasing the wind, and this spiritual blindness has led to many walking and stumbling in darkness, verse 6 of the same Psalms, reads, "I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are Children of the most High"
The psalmist is showing you, your place and telling you who you really are in God, not what you think or feel.
This is it, the reality! Let me create a better illustration of this for the purpose of more definite and assured clarity.
Almost everyone loves the United States of America (USA), and virtually everyone would in a haste accept becoming an American citizen, okay, but in all, there are four fundamental ways to becoming a USA citizen.
The New Birth
one of them is by birth in the USA, yes birth gives you automatic citizenship! our scripture text shows us that, the man that accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, is immediately regenerated into a new man (newborn).
And that all his past sins are cleansed and forgiven no matter to what extent, now that man belongs not only to his biological family but he is now born into the family of God.
He is rather born of God, which automatically gives him a citizenship place in heaven, and most greatly bonafide child of God.
You can now see what the psalmist tried to portray, "I have said, ye are gods: and all of you are Children of the most High" - Psalm 82:6
82:
As born of God, your citizenship is far above that of an American. You should henceforth begin to live and manifest the citizenship right of the heavenly.
Live like a god, the son of God is a god because you were born again in Christ.
He begot you in Christ, this was only possible by the Divine power of God at work in His Son; Jesus Christ, in effect your status changed at the new birth.
You might be in the world but you are now begotten of God, you are now seated above with Christ.
So, no more condemnation of past sins, no more fear of death, no more poverty, depression, and stagnation are terminated, all nailed to the cross as Jesus became sin.
You became the righteousness of God, the grave was the burial ground for all that was a thorn in your flesh afore-time. You have been redeemed in Christ for Glory. Hallelujah!
Remember, "In him was life, and the life was the light of men" - John 1:4
Your old man is gone, the old life is also gone, and you now have a new life as a new man and with a Divine heritage in God.
You are now a spirit being ( see John 3:8)
PRAYER
FATHER, IJN: I confess that I am begotten of you and that I have the mind and wisdom of Christ, my heritage is heavenly.
