SCRIPTURE TEXT: “O
GIVE thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever”
Psalm 136:1 KJV.

THE PROCEEDING verse of our
text reads; “He keepeth all his bones
not one of them is broken”. God really deserves your utmost praise and
heartfelt thanksgiving, after having guided and seeing you through the past Years.
All that is within you at the moment should be giving glory to God, for
there is nothing we have that he has not given unto us, perhaps last year; it
was all good and testimony filled, give thanks to God, probably it wasn’t so
glorious it still calls for thanksgiving,
In all things, we ought to appreciate
the name of the Lord (1 Thes 5:18) we don’t just hurl praises on God when the
going is all good.
Thanksgiving to God
when things are not yet as we hope they will become is STRONG FAITH in GOD.
It
provokes the supernatural to happen, a song lyric says, “when I do wrong no one forgets, but when I do good no one remembers”
God has been so good to you, and the gift of life is one paramount aspect that when
you take note of, you will eternally be grateful to God.
Just worship him all
through today for His innumerable blessings, most importantly you are among the
living to witness the new year, the Psalmist said, “bless the LORD o my soul, all that is within me bless his holy name,
bless the lord o my soul and forget not all of his benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2
KJV).
The afflictions of the past years couldn’t halt your progress, “Behold he that keepeth Israel neither
slumbers nor sleep”.
When you are grateful, you get a grand full of returns.
Your lot becomes filled with great and
glorious things.
Because a deeply thankful heart would earnestly give praise to
God, and can you imagine what God will be moved to do in the course of praising
his name?
He dwells in the midst of a praiseful people, the Bible record puts
it this way, “…..O thou that inhabitest
the praise of Israel” (Psalm 22:3 KJV) God lives in praise,
So, whatever you
have not seen in your life is not hard for God to deal with, “ all nations before God are
nothing” When you truly understand the reality of the Love of God towards you,
you just rest in His Love and daily thank and worship him.
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things
to them that ask him?”.
This is the revelation of his love for his children,
if our earthly fathers know how to give good things to their children, God
then is committed to doing even exceedingly more than you can ask or imagine.
He is your heavenly Father and all things come from Him, just as that
one leaper out of the ten of them that were cleansed, only that one came back
to Jesus to thank and worship him, he returned in humility to thank and praise
Him for restoring him.
And he even got more exceedingly blessed for giving thanks,
giving is living, glory! Jesus just
made him completely whole, the other nine weren’t made whole.
Who knows their
state aftermath, especially for not returning to glorify God, whatever you are passing through is not
final if the leprous got a miracle trusting God!
Then beloved your own miracle
is ahead, Always Be Thankful To God. Were you not ten? Only you have returned
to give thanks. Be that one grateful person always.
A Thanksgiving lifestyle is a unique life!
PRAYER
Thank your Father
for His loving kindness in all areas of your life and family.
Thank God for the gift of life and His provisions in the past and present.
Thank Him for witnessing yet another glorious year.
